Aftercare at PGCPS TAG Centers for Out-of-Boundary TAG Students

| PGCPS TAG Parents, does your TAG Center's aftercare program accept TAG students who live outside that school's boundary? I was told that the aftercare program can decide whether to allow out of boundary TAG students to participate in their aftercare. I think all of the school's amenities should be available to all students who attend there regardless of where they live! |

| Wow this does not make sense. Did you contact the specific school aftercare coordinator? I would like to know about this as well. |

| I have not contacted the aftercare coordinator yet, but will do so tomorrow. The school office informed me that the aftercare program was deciding at this time. |

Yes, my child attends thet TAG center schools aftercare program.
What you were told makes no sense to me whatsoever. You should contact the BAS-ELP office http://www1.pgcps.org/beforeandafterschoolelp/index.aspx?id=177614 Now, on the registration packet there is a comment that the BAS ELP is for kids at the local school as part of their attendance area. However, if your child is in the TAG program center for his or her address, that IS the TAG school for her attendance area. |
