In order to make up a day lost to inclement weather, DCPS says that Monday, May 18th, which was originally a parent/teacher conference day is now a full instructional day. Nowhere else do I see that May 18th was ever scheduled as a conference day - this includes the calendar I downloaded from the DCPS website in the fall and a printed calendar given to my child by a teacher at the beginning of the year. No big deal, just wonder what (if anything) am I missing?
I have it on my "Important Dates" Calendar. And also the monthly 2014-2015 School Year Calendar.
May 1st WAS a day off, I'm thinking that it's a typo
|
Or wait, is it still off?
|
It is listed on the 2014-15 Outlook calendar that I downloaded at the beginning of the school year as a Parent/Teacher conference day.
May 1 is still a day off. May 18 is not.
OP here - thanks for the replies. I downloaded the PDF version of the calendar, which did not have it listed, but apparently the Outlook version did. Thanks.
It was on the pdf originally. Once the change was made, they took it off.
No, actually one pdf version of the calendar dated from the fall does not May 18 given as a day off. Probably a later version did make the change.
