Adult braces - Should I get them?

| I'm 30 but I have I have a crowding issue with my teeth. Despite the crowding I have a good bite says the dentist. One popular vienna dentist didn't put too much focus on my issue but recommended invisalign and these thinner modern braces. Another dentist I spent about an hour with told me that I would better benefit from the thinner modern braces due to my crowding issue and that invisalign woudln't work as well for my problem. If I go for the thinner modern braces will I have to say no for years to food and candy I love? such as chocolate, popcorn, pizza, etc? Will I lose a lot of weight? If I have invisalign does it cause more cavities? |
