I don't know why I set the bar so low, but it was amazing to be taken out on a real date. He picked me up, paid for dinner, was charming and attentive all night, walked me to my door.
Oh my, I want more. |
Did he wear a bluetooth headset on his ear all night? Or constantly check his phone? |
He didn't pull his phone out once. (Pretty sure he doesn't even own a bluetooth headset) |
Good!!! At least someone had a good night |
Did you meet in person or online? |
and...
Was there a spark? Will you see him again? Are you going to wait for him to contact you again or would you consider contacting him if you don't hear from him within say, three days? Was he a bad boy or poli sci major who works on the hill and dreams of working for a big law firm one day? Where did you go to dinner? How much did you drink? Do you both come from similar backgrounds? |
12:24 is right! Inquiring minds want to know! So glad you had a good time! |
In person. |
There was definitely a spark. I hope I see him again- we discussed a second date. I'll be surprised if he doesn't contact me. We have mutual friends so I'll see him at some point. Neither. 1.5 beers. Fairly similar. |
While I think the date went very well, I have to advise you to proceed slowly and get to know this guy at a slow pace as well.
First dates are usually the best dates and can almost always appear perfect, esp. to someone who has been out of the dating world for a significant amount of time. If the subsequent dates turn out well and you start to really like this guy, then good for you! Just make sure you give it lots of time and do not lose tough with reality. Good luck OP! |
I would advise finishing your beers in the future.
Waste not, want not. |
