I think this is likely. I also think children of all ages transmit it easily and schools and daycares are less safe than restaurants, but no one wants to be the bad person and admit either thing publicly.

Gawd, this year has get so long I forgot about that.

I had forgotten about all those reports and concerns regarding vaping deaths. There does not seem to be nearly any now since the pandemic began.

I agree with the bolded. I think schools and daycares are high risk environments for transmission, but the combination between kids not getting as sick generally and parents at their wits' end keeps them open. I wouldn't say indoor dining is safe either though, I think keeping that open is also just down to lobbying by the NRA, not based in science.

+1 I'm a teacher just getting over Covid. I am 100% sure it is spread by the teenagers with whom I work, many of whom are leading active non-socially distanced lives outside of school, with no attempt to distance. And their parents are fine with this. School admin just don't want to hear us complaining.

Hellen Keller was greatly exaggerated. Not to say she did't exist or accomplish anything, but I feel like the woman her family hired to help her did most of hellen's accomplishments.

See NASA before and after pictures. If they didn’t plan it, Mother Earth just had enough.

Since when does China care about pollution though? Beijing’s smog is the worst in the world.

That is the point. Did you check the NASA before and after maps? See which are cleared up the most and dramatically reduced environmental hazards? No one can escape the universe or Mother Nature. You can only respect it and care for the resources she produces.

Except your first sentence seems to be arguing that China deliberated wanted to shut down its cities and the world to ease environmental impact. While your last one is saying this is some sort of cosmic intervention from a divine representative of the Earth.

Which is it?

What was the Chinese embassy burning?

I tested positive today. I can assure you it isn't fake.

I admit I had that thought too. And then a family friend, her husband, and two small kids tested positive and spent a month in absolute misery. All are healthy, fit young people with zero underlying conditions. Everyone is just fine now but it was a scary time.

The virus is real. They hype is politics.

DP: I also believe that while it is a serious condition, almost everyone who could - used it to their advantage and hyped it. People who don’t want to work, politicians, business leaders, panic porn addicts and others.

I believe Covid is real and my small business has been shuttered since March. I want to work. My staff want to work. We can make it another 6 months but if we cannot open within that timeframe I’ll likely have to shutter forever. I take great offense to your comment as I’ve spent the last 15 years growing it out of nothing.

Except small and large scale studies that actually test students and teachers on a regular basis have found no community spread in schools where there is making wearing and social distancing. Scary that teachers can be so adverse to science.

This caveat is part of the reason I'm skeptical of the claims. What happens when (not if) there is not masking and social distancing in schools and daycares?

I believe in the “tic tac UFO” — it is either aliens or a time traveler. That technology is a century beyond our capabilities. There’s some show on the history channel about it that is very convincing.

Seriously - she's basically Bill in a wig.

I believe it's aliens and I also believe that this information is being trickled out in order to mitigate the panic when it's revealed that there are aliens and human beings have been in contact with them. Why else would the government release this information at all?

I have a few.

- I believe that Katniss's father was a part of District 13 and the rebellion. He knew too much - the bird stuff, the hunting, he worked in a coal mine where they could have these conversations away from the cameras, his mine blew up and looked like an accident, he married a woman from the other side of the railroad tracks.
- I believe that Peeta didn't really love Katniss, but that was just his "angle" he'd use to survive the games. Whoever the girl who was selected was, he'd play this angle. I'm sure there are similar 'bread' stories from all the girls in town because Peeta is just that type of guy.
- Katniss was simple minded. She acts like she was the only person who lost somebody. What gives her the right to say "not me". Everybody else lost somebody, it freakin drove Haysmich mad to the point where he hides it with alcohol but she has the "right" to kill Coin because of Prim (yes, I hate that Prim dies).
- Foxface committed suicide. She was smart and people want Katniss to be the only hero so badly that they want to minimize what she did. I think she had a similar mind that Peeta had when he told Katniss on the roof that he didn't want the games to change him. Peeta said that he didn't mind killing though. Maybe Foxface didn't want to kill so she took it as far as she could and decided that at this point she'd kill herself and make it look like an accident so that her family wouldn't be targeted.
- MockingJay <<<<< Hunger Games and Catching Fire.

I know they're out there, but they're all true.

Non Covid deaths are being counted as Covid deaths

To be clear, I believe the virus is real, but I think the death rates are inaccurate.
