(Raises hand.)

However, Rina is really, really a shit stirrer.

That is her job on the show.

I see Erika's point. The Erika Jayne stuff is a persona and it's very clear. Pk and Dorit embarrassed the real Erika. And dorit did make it into what it was by talking about it with every single person. I'm assuming at the time the dinner scene in Hong Kong was filmed, Erika had not even yet seen all the disgusting things PK said behind her back. More to come Erika!!

The cocaine accusation was pretty low. Believable, but low.

I get why it upset it - I dont get why it upset her marriage. If Tom can live w the persona, surely he can survive a night out with no panties on ...

She has a career as a sex kitten dance club music preformer fully funded by her husband and her going commando one night at a dinner party is getting her marriage in hot water??? Ughhh ok?

It's the implication that the real Erika Girardi is a slut and a whore and would flash her vagina at another man's husband with real intent to get into something with a friend's husband. As real life Erika Girardi.
At that point, it's their social circle. Presumably at some point Tom will be in a room with all these people socializing and they will have all heard about this and gossiped about this.

The Erika Jayne stuff is a cartoon character.

Dude her relationship with Tom is weird AF. Like layers and layers of weirdness.

I agree. And I really like Erika but she was off her rocker tonight. Perhaps one too many margaritas. She's clearly always going to be worried about her son, but something really tapped into that worry.

I also thought the continued conversation about pantygate was annoying. Doris does owe Erika an apology but the dramatics over it were too much.

Actually I think we saw the "real" Erika. I think she is controlled and closed off normally because she keeps the real her under wraps. Now we know why.

I like Erika so much. I have no need for Erika Jane but can respect that it's fun for her.

I have found zero redeaming qualities in Dorit. (Obviously spelling is not one of my best qualities)

I found Erika's behavior really strange. I was with her on the boat. I totally understood where she was coming from and why she called out Dorit. I can see her letting it go but keeping a safe distance from Dorit and not being totally into Dorit's gossipy nature (she tells the same stories over and over to each person to try and stir up stuff). I can also see a world where it gets back to Tom that Erika is flashing her vagina, but with the details of what actually happened, and it being awkward for Tom. Or more likely, people are talking about it, not saying anything to Tom, and just a rumor mill going around.

I was also still with her when she was upset at dinner and not willing to let it go. But, then the dinner got super strange. The freak out on Eileen was crazy. Eileen apologized 100 times about using her son as an example and remembering that since her son was a police officer that the comment was a poor choice of words (and not a hope she had). It was crazy that Erika could not or would not let up on that.

It was not what I was expecting and really super strange.

I completely get Erika's position about panty gate, how Dorit and PK going on about it makes Erika seem like some sort of wild exhibitionist. In general I agree with Erika's perception of most things. But I was taken aback by her reaction to Eileen's comment on the boat, and the only thing I can think is that the reaction stemmed from all the pent up emotion she's been feeling about the panty stuff and whatever else and it just all came out at once.

The reaction about the son was a lot.

Most of us have kids and I think that nothing hits deeper than anxiety and anguish over the thought of something bad happening to your child. That's the only explanation that makes any sense. That she is terrified her son will be killed and she just had an extremely uncharacteristic, visceral, and irrational reaction.

Hell, it's the fact that she's normally so sane that made it seem so bizarre. For many other Housewives, that outburst would have just been another day at the office.

I think it was a big deal about her son because of what was already going on with Dorit. I think the comment just set her off.

Erika abandoned her son to live with his dad in NY at the age of 3 to go chase her dreams of wealth and fame in LA. So she can save the tears about her now-adult son who clearly can care for himself.

Right? Like everyone knows she fled to Tom when he showed her a flash of wealth.

I don't approve of her choice to leave her some at a young age, but I can believe that she loves him and worries about him. But her reaction over Eileen's admittedly awful analogy was so off the charts. Eileen apologized about 5 times and Erika could not let it go. Erika holds herself out as being so real and direct and not about the drama, but her treatment of Eileen was as bad as any of these drama-queen women on the show.
