| Well nothing will be discussed Friday as Flo-rida is in town, and they are broadcasting live from the Ryan Seacrest studios at Children's National Hospital. That is why Rose is in town. They have talked about it all week. They surely will not drop any news on Danni while do something at the children's hospital. |

| This has to be much higher than Kane at this point. he obviously can't say anything without getting in trouble and why should he risk his job over an employee with major attendance issues and an attitude problem. I think people need to back off Kane and put the pressure on the PD. |

Damnnnn. I can kind of see why they shut off posts, I mean, it's not THAT hard to find out his real name, and I've known for a while like most people on this thread, but it's still not right to go dropping someone's real name on a page that thousands of people can see, many of them irrationally angry at him for Danni. |

| Something I really like on the Hey Frase podcast is that when she reads emails from listeners she wont just read the "omg I love you" ones she reads the "you're a fucking idiot" ones and Samy will be like yeah I think she's right you were being an idiot. Whereas Kane deletes all negative comments...(not specifically meaning the name thing. I get it he has kids. but in general). |

I've listened to this show for 6 years. The situation with Mel was the first time the show left me really scratching my head. Kane's explanation was the dumbest thing anybody's ever heard. "I apologize that I could't give her attention because I needed to be with my sick wife." Nobody would fault him for wanting to be a good husband. I think Mel approached him about wanting to be a bigger part of the show and giving her more opportunity's to speak. Whenever Kane would ask for opinions he would ask John then Danni and then he would take calls. Just ignoring Mel and making her the forgotten person sometimes. She had more to offer than Rose is offering now in therms of life experiences and opinions. When Mel would speak it would be the last word of the discussion because I think he felt bad for not giving he an earlier chance.
I think Kane probably told her he would do a better job of including her when they came back from winter break. 2 weeks into January when nothing changed Mel probably informed them that she wanted to leave. Natasha being sick at the time while unfortunate gave Kane a reason to spin this in his favor while still being slightly truthful. He does the same thing with Rose (although she gets to talk now with Danni out). I'm willing to give Rose more time to find he footing now that she's #3 in the pecking order now. Before when it came to opinions on the show it felt like the order of value was Kane, Danni/IJ (depended on the topic), the listeners, Erick and then Rose. She was like the 6th man that's finally cracked the starting lineup. Personally I think the show needs to stick to three people in the same studio. Kane doesn't do a good enough job of making the person in Tampa feel like a priority or giving them a fare shot. The reason I think we all feel Rose doesn't offer much is because she never got to speak. Yes I believe some of that has to do with Danni but for the most part its because Kane is all over the place and lacks the focus necessary to give somebody not in the room the same amount of opportunity's he gives everyone else. Rose needs to grow quick and stick up for her self or she'll be the next Kane show casualty. |
