Gas is up

Energy prices are exploding in other countries and making life very difficult. America us responsible for a lot of the world's pain, and they arent going to forgive it. US hegemony is over. Trump's greatest gift to China and Russia will.be the death of the petrodollar. America's debt problems are about to get a whole lot more expenive and worse.

US is now in the phase of the Roman Empire where they collapsed due to huge debt, inflation, and foreign gaffe after gaffe. US couldn't even make it 100 years on top. So lame.

It's as if Trump is doing China's bidding....hmmmm.

Somebody should have told him that bragging about gas prices was not a great idea. But he was probably talking to Pam Bondi that day.

Gas shortages in Australia, Asian fishing fleets not leaving ports because of lack of fuel., etc.

The shock in coming.

That’s if Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz right away. What if they decide they would like to extend the pain for the United States and everyone else who supported this war? Seems like Iran gets to decide when things go back to normal, not Trump or the United States.

Just saying the world’s economy is breaking now. The supply and trade system takes 3-4 weeks under good normal conditions to deliver oil and oil derivatives. If The Bab-el-Mandeb is closed it will be over. We will be is a world wide depression.

And apparently if Trump's intention was to use this to create a coalition against Iran that also seems to be failing.

Gee, if only he hadn't come right out of the gate into his Presidency attacking, insulting and alienating every ally the US had, tearing down every relationship the US spent decades building, burning every bridge he could find... then maybe we'd have had a chance at a more sensible approach at dealing with Iran, along with a coalition to make it happen.

We had a sensible approach. All it required was continuing it not letting Trump touch anything. Trump is not compatible with any sensible approach.

The Ukrainian war didn’t cause the price spike, the sanctions did. Those were Biden’s decision to implement, as much as he was able to make any decision.

No it was Covid. Covid decreased demand for gas and oil because people worked at home. As people went back to work demand increased NS supply could not keep up. This happens all the time with oil and gas.

This is quite the revisionist narrative.

The relevant sanctions had been in place since 2014.

It was probably all those reasons. This time it’s 100% on Trump for not knowing anything about world politics or the history of the Middle East or the history of South America or anything. He just wanted to feel powerful and blow things up. He’s surrounded by yes men and demented. Great.
