| Why are these people (Weiss, Bilton, etc) willing to attach themselves to a sinking ship? MAGA has peaked and is clearly on a downward spiral. What's left will be the country's dumbest cult members and maybe a few billionaires. The majority of Americans, especially those who actual pay attention and get news from credible sources see Trump et al for the corrupt, incompetent and immoral people that they are. Do people really think that another 3 years is going to improve their standing? When MAGA is out of power, these people (Weiss, etc) will have to answer for their actions. I don't expect them to miraculously develop a conscience, but I can't understand why they are willing to sell their souls and reputations to a corrupt power on the decline. |

They honestly believe they will have power forever and are willing to end the American experiment as we know it. They will end capitalism, voting, public schools, free speech, all safety nets, a safe U.S. - before they ever give up power. They will attack American cities. |

I know I’m naive, but really what is Weiss getting out of all of this (other than “power”)? I just cannot fathom how SO many people are willing to light their morals on fire for this cause. How do they look themselves in the mirror? Are they so deluded they think they’re on the right side of history? She wants to go down as the Leni Riefenstahl of the MAGA movement? It’s so embarrassing to be them. |
