Comey has always been an attention-seeker, which is the opposite of what you want in a Director of the FBI. He should never have been elevated to that position. And now we have the next iteration, Kash Patel. It's even worse attention-seeking behavior but without the competence.

However, all that being said, the investigations against Comey have no legal basis.

Criticism of speech isn't equivalent to arresting someone for speech, which is what happened here. Sarah Palin was criticized, not criminally charged. Using your own free speech in response to someone else's free speech is fine.
