I bet you the average farmer has way more practical skills and works harder than most of the folks making six and seven figures do. Most of the guys I know who have farms know animal husbandry, crops, fertilization, pest management, know how to work on diesel equipment and hydraulics, know how to do carpentry, welding, et cetera et cetera et cetera... We just screw them over - because Republicans are all pro-corporate and are fine with the big corporate farming conglomerates getting tons of subsidies and crushing the hard-working family farms.
