My point about the backup dancer getting them in touch is this... Let's TS and TK started dating in June because the backup dancer put them in touch. Travis could have had his eye on TS for the whole year. Maybe they started dating in June...or even earlier. THEN, Travis could bring up this whole story about a bracelet. It's a cute story, plays well in the press. Then, they just let people think they met after the bracelet thing... The point is that we don't know when they started dating. We just THINK we know when they started. We don't even know when TS and JA broke up. Some say they were fizzling in 2022 but they were photographed shopping for furniture in Oct 2022 and JA referred to his monogamous relationship... The "leaks" come from them. "A source close to..." is often the star or the star's PR team when they don't want to give a direct quote... |

I think they didn't get in touch and start dating until after Travis made the bracelet comment.

Maybe… but for sure he was in NYC during his break in mid August. His brother asked him what he did and he didn’t really answer. |

I think this will mean a lot for Taylor. Like maybe he can’t meet her in conversation (but who can really she’s one of the greatest songwriters) but if there is tons of chemistry and he’s successful in his own right she should compromise. |

It’s funny to me to see this article that says (in late March) that Taylor and Joe are living a fairytale and he will be coming to her Eras Tour shows. A few weeks later, they were apparently over.

But men do have that problem though. Most women raised in a traditional household were brought up feeling like they had to apologize for everything. We were the problem and it was our job to make others happy. I still catch myself saying "I'm sorry" and then I think what the hell am I apologizing for. |

Oprah called us on that 30 years ago. Call it internalized misogyny or not, the solution isnt to start day dreaming about men apologizing to me because that is not claiming your own power. That is simply reversing the power while using power manipulatively. . It is dehumanizing to think we should give words and tell them how to be. We SHOULD stand ground, not apologize ourselves and expect men to speak THEIR feelings. Crafting a dream world of men apologizing to you and thinking you can TELL them how is not acknowledging their thoughts or feelings in the same exact way they have been hurting women and tell us how to feel. The solution isn’t “giving it back to them” and holding power in the same way they do. It is to expect that they and our sons will acknowledge respect our feelings and boundaries and for us to do the same. I’m sure this will get thrown off the thread. And the Swifites will be swift with their ridicule of my thoughts, but this whole statement is just awful. |
