More fact than opinion.

Definitely way more opinion than fact.

Her powerful healing imagery and words spoke for so many of us who were traumatized after four years of explicit hate mongering, division, lies and an insurrection.

Sorry you could not feel her beauty and truth telling …

I can confidently say that you’ve had issues long before.

True but I am not unique. To be human is to have issues.

Poets paint images and concepts with words that articulate parts of life that everyday discourse alone can’t express. She does that really well.

Your issues are you thinking you are a victim. I am God as much as she is a poet.

Your issue is trying to reduce online strangers into safe and predictable cliches.

Anyway back to the point here.

You as God V Amanda as poet

AG credentials
AG is the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history, an award-winning writer and cum laude graduate of Harvard University.

Your credentials
Unknown. Have you walked on water, made the blind to see or raised anyone from the dead recently?

Now you get it! I haven’t walked on water or made the blind see. Which is why I said she is a poet as much as I am God. Glad you got it now!

Righttio Emmanuel (Gid with us)!

There is a fatal flaw in your theory. Region comes from the Alston religio meaning bond of social relations that unite individuals and connect them to something bigger than themselves - AG is actually acknowledged as the US youth poet and performed at a presidential inauguration. Many were deeply moved by her “athe Hill We Climb” poem.

How many people worship you in a faith community/ church/ synagogue/ temple ?

None worship me. I see you still get it. I’m God as much as she is a poet. Gid with us.

Sorry to burst the self delusion bubble but you can’t play God in a party of one. You need a community of believers for street cred. AG has oodles of street cred as a national poet, inaugural poet and author.

That should be a relief really. Way too much pressure and grief to know the inner hearts of people and get them all on the same page. Hope springs eternal though. If you can pull it off, kudos to you Emmanuel!

Omg PP, you don’t get it. Give it up.

THIS! It's like the pp is being purposely dense because it can't possibly be explained to her any more clearly.

The women who make it are prostitutes and the men who make it are male (gay) prostitutes — unless you’re born filthy rich and/or hyper-connected.

I’ve never seen Titanic and never had any desire to watch it.

I have seen Titanic and I HATED it

Everyone I know hates Titanic, except... me! So here is my unpopular pop culture opinion: I loved Titanic

Me too, PP!

Star Drek and "intellectually gifted" do not belong in the same sentence together.

You loved her after all the grifters she championed?

I'm not sure that Woody Allen is guilty.

I'm not sure this is unpopular, but the people who failed to act when given verifiable evidence of what Jim Savile did should be growing old in prison. So should the heads of the hospitals and institutions who allowed him to "work" there with no qualifications and no oversight.

I’ve never even heard of him but from the little I just read he was a sick disgusting human being, and all of his accomplices and those who looked the other way should be fired and held accountable. Preying on children at hospitals and children’s wards? Humanity is depraved.

Anonymous wrote:I loathe Weezer and Dave Matthews Band. I question your taste if you like them. Same with Red Hot Chili Peppers who prove drugs doesn’t make you creative. Drugs make you suck.

Excuse me, stop coming for Gen X. We've suffered enough.

NP but I'm Gen X and I hate Dave Matthews Band. It tells me a lot about you if you're a fan. You probably also liked Phish. {shudder}

I think you can make your unpopular opinion without also making a negative generalization about people who disagree....

Did you watch the HBO documentary? I had no opinion before that, but the documentary didn’t look good for him.
