Do you use shelf liners?

Do you use shelf liners for your cabinets? What kind do you use? If not, why not?

No. They left sticky adhesive on the cabinets. Gross! I just clean the shelves weekly.

I use those paper shelf liners that are lightly scented for two shelves in my linen closet.

I have used non-adhesive ones in the past: it's a pain to cut them to the right size/shape. In a pinch I've used parchment paper, which is less expensive.
