donating furniture/large pieces

I am downsizing and would like to donate several large pieces of furniture, rugs, a couple of large art pieces, things that I can't transport.

I have contacted the Salvation Army, Purple Heart, etc and it seems these organizations won't enter a dwelling to take donations, and I can't get these items outside to the curb, nor can I leave them at the curb for pickup as I live in a condo association and this would violate condo rules.

Does anyone know of an organization that would pick these items up? I'm a mom parenting alone so, while I love the idea of freecycle I'm a bit leery of the safety risks of having a series of random folks come to get items from my home.

All ideas greatly appreciated!

A wider circle will come pick up anything, even mattresses. Might be 5 weeks out, but get on their schedule now and they'll happily come and give you a tax receipt too!
