Question about Charter Lottery vs Specialty Lottery Placements

Hello,

Does anyone know whether accepting a placement for a Charter school affects your placement/waiting list for a Specialty school? They are two separate lotteries, so I would think one would not affect the other - but you never know.

Not sure, i do not see why it should affect your status for specialty. If you are on the waitlist they should still contact you if a placement becomes available.

Thanks! We got an email for CMIT Elemntary, but are holding out hope for French Immersion.
