Thinking of repainting the living room and dining room the palest of sages. I'm wondering if anyone has a specific paint color name they'd recommend? I definitely want to steer clear of anything that comes across as a minty green, so I'm a little nervous. Thanks for any help! |
A couple of greens we've used are BM Wind Chime (basement guest room) and BM Spanish Olive (boys bathroom) - they're definitely not minty. Those may not be pale enough for you so check on the Benjamin Moore website and see which colors they are related to. |
BM Nantucket Gray |
Jenjamin Moore Jute |
Benjamin |
Sherwin Williams Sagey. |
BM silver crest 1583. Has gray undertones, is very light sage color. |
BM Camoflage |
Do all of these look good under compact fluorescent lighting? |
Benjamin Moore Silken Pine. |
Compact fluorescent is a blue light, a "cool" light. For sage green, I'd think you'd do better with incandescent or warm spectrum LED (2500 Kelvin for example). |
Nothing looks good under compact fluorescent lighting. |

OP here. Thanks for all the ideas! (I'm not the one who asked about fluorescent lighting, by the way!) |
NP here. Thanks for this recommendation! Just googled it--great color! |
