Two nights in London or Paris with two kids, 4 and 6?

We can do one or the other on our way to visit family in Asia. Which would you paick for those ages? I'm thinking London May be more interesting for young children but would love to hear thoughts from others. TIA!

FWIW I flew from Asia to DC going via the Atlantic rather than the Pacific. It was longer but more interestingly the taxes at LHR or CDG were SIGNIFICANTLY higher than options that went through Korea or Japan. Heathrow was more expensive than Paris but both were still rather high in the Summer months. It was about 22 hours flight time going over the Atlantic route + layovers vs. about 16 hours going over the Pacific route + layovers.

Honestly, at age 4 & 6, the kids will be as interested in a squirrel in a park as they will by the Eiffel Tower or Buckingham Palace. I'd really pick based on your interests rather than what works for them.

Paris. I love the flea markets and am a sucker for photo opps with the kids. I'd hit the gorgeous cemeteries, where people regularly picnic.

I'm more familiar with London, so that would be an excuse to visit with friends more than anything else.

Paris is great with young kids! We packed foldable scooters and they had a blast riding them around Paris. I cannot imagine London with kids. My vote is Paris.

Lots of great things to do in london with kids, but same goes for Paris. I would do whichever has cheaper flights.

Just got back from London and Paris with a seven year old and this is exactly right!
