I had surgery for an ectopic pregnancy a little over 2 months ago. Since that time, I've been bloated. Basically pretty much everything I eat makes me bloat. I have not called my obgyn bc I have no intention of ever going back to that practice. My question is Does anyone know how long it takes for the bloat to go away?
honestly, mine lasted about 4months I think. Although I have never really felt "normal" since starting IVF. They werent even sure I had an ectopic and gave me the option to either take methytrexate (because tehy thought something fishy was going on) or do a laproscopic surgery to see if I had an ectopic. I opted for the surgery and sure enough my tube was about to rupture. I was SO bloated for the first two months that I couldn't wear my regular clothing. After month 4 I started to look and feel better.
Sorry for your loss. I can't remember how long but I was uncomfortable for a while. I went to an acupuncturists and that helped. Please find another practice and get it checked out.
I was not doing IVF when I had my ectopic, but I do not remember feeling bloated - especially from eating - as a result. The pain from my incisions took at least a month to get better, but that was all.
OP here. I wasn't doing IVF when I had my ectopic. Strangely enough I had already gone through several rounds of IVF. Thanks for everyone's responses.
