Westbrook Elementary School

We are considering it for our 3rd grader and will take a look in the next few weeks. Are there any parents out there that can weigh in on your experience on the quality of instruction, class size and environment (e.g., structured, more liberal, calm, chaotic, etc.)? Our child is bright, but a bit too social and in need of reminders. Do you think a child like that would get lost in the shuffle at Westbrook? Do the teachers stay on top of the kids, or is it a more independent environment?

My DC is too young for Westbrook but there are many bright, social children in the neighborhood who attend. It's my understanding that the teachers do stay on top of the kids and that the tracking allows for enrichment as well as additional help if your child needs it. Kids at Westbrook seem to be farther ahead in math than those at the private schools, including the Big 3.
