Recommendation for Girl's Weekend getaway?

It's time to plan our annual Girl's weekend Trip. We usually do a 4 day weekend of beach/pool, cocktails, and "some" nightlife. Past spots include South Beach, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, New Orleans, NYC....this year we're stuck. Actually, it was going to be Cancun for a while - but I guess there has been escalating violence in Mexico that has turned some of us off.

Any suggestions for a place - island, hotel, general area - that you would recommend? Not super expensive and not super hard to get to (i.e. St. John) that has a great beach/pool area, decent night life, maybe a casino - one in the crowd is a gambler!

Las Vegas has incredible deals right now. You can get a really nice hotel for really cheap. There is no beach but definitely pools, good weather, good night life and casinos.

I'd like some suggestions too. Not Vegas, somewhere in the Carribean preferrably.
