Cute petite summer dresses??

Anonymous
I just ordered an adorable J. Crew sundress and some of their new ruffley t-shirts. Unfortunately, everything is ENORMOUS on me. The necklines are so low I'd have to buy a special bra just to wear with the t-shirts, which I refuse to do for something I should be able to throw on. All of it is loose and baggy.

So where can I go for something cute, casual and petite? Whose XS is actually XS? (Sorry - I know I'm lucky to have this problem, so please no flames.)

I have a friend who's tiny and she finds cute things that fit at Ann Taylor Loft. Good luck.

Are you looking inexpensive or no holds barred? I've had great luck with dresses at Benetton for the inexpensive/cute stuff. I love Neiman Marcus for the expensive/cute stuff. The dresses that they have in the department across from shoes at Mazza Gallerie are pretty reasonable when they go on sale (comparable to buying a regular priced J Crew dress).

Looking for inexpensive, casual dresses. I had totally forgotten about Benetton - I have an old suit and a dress from them that fit great.

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll check out AT Loft and Benetton today (online only... no time to shop )!

This is a pet peeve for me: t-shirts that expose your bra. And given my, um, underendowment, it's not like I'm wearing some huge, Victorian-era undergarment.

Like this? Looks ok on the model but on me it goes down to my navel. http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Feature_Assortment/instantgratificationunder100/knits/PRDOVR~13620/13620.jsp

OP here - That's the t-shirt. The dress had the same neckline. I can't BELIEVE how low it went. I'm not a prude, but it was ridiculous.
