I have about 6 chocolate easter bunnies… what can I make?

Some are huge and solid, and some are the hollow kind. Both my kids don't want anymore. Can I melt them down and make them into something? Seems like an waste just to throw them away.

Melting depends on the brand. Cheap ones won't melt to a good consistency/taste. I'd be tempted to make a chocolate crust you can use to make cheesecake. I've done that with excess Cadbury mini eggs

Chocolate covered strawberries?

I'd melt them down into a chocolate sauce and dip fruit in them.

This recipe calls for bittersweet chocolate, but Easter chocolate will work fine. The cream will even out some of the poor quality in the chocolate.

If they are good - eat them!

I save* them until Valentines day, then melt them down with a little cream and we have chocolate fondue.

*I do not intentionally save them. I usually find them in the cabinet where the kids have candy and then I put into whatever we've got that still looks decent and since it's decent quality chocolate to begin with, it's fine.

You can freeze the solid kind.

Break them into pieces, freeze, and use in place of chocolate chips.

Melt them into milk for hot chocolate.

Or with frozen solid piece, grate over hot chocolate, pancakes, etc.
