How to find salary range? (Non-profit)

I am being offered a promotion at my current employer. It will be a big title change and increased responsibility. They have not yet offered me a salary, but I believe I am currently underpaid and want to make sure I am very prepared to counter with an appropriate range. My challenge is that I have no idea where to start finding appropriate salary ranges for this position. Would love to hear some advice! Thanks.

Look up the 990. That will show salaries for top staff.

You need to register to use the site, but it lets you look up the 990 forms, and then you can see salaries for select employees -- the most highly paid, at least.

990 will show compensation for employees who make more than $100,000 and for anyone on the board of directors (though generally board members are not paid).
