Food for Children's Birthday party other than pizza

Anonymous
We are having a birthday party for DC (5 years) for about 10 children and probably 10-15 adults. I'm so sick of pizza. Looking for ideas on what to serve other than pizza.

For DD's 5th B-day party I prepared finger foods using recipes from Laura Fuentes's book - The Best Homemade Kids' Lunches on the Planet. I made mini quiches, mini corn muffins, fruit cups, and finger sandwhiches with cream cheese and slices of strawberries and bananas. I also made the cordon blue pasta salad. Everything could be served at room temperature so re-heating wasn't an issue. It made a nice table presentation and the feedback from the parents and kids was good.

Chick fil-a party platter! The best!

Or small subs, cold cuts and rolls, whatever.

Best party I ever went to in Jan served Mac and cheese from a crockpot. Warm, yummy, filling, comfort food in the dead of winter.

If you do chik fil a, then make sure no one has a peanut allergy since they cook the chicken in peanut oil.
