Hello there.
I am a size 16, hopefully soon to be a size 14. I am dreading the summer - usually can't find much, except for dresses, that look flattering on my figure - AND is comfortable in the heat we get around here.
Any tips? I guess I am more of the "triangle" shape -- busty, somewhat broad shoulders, undefined waist. TIA!!!! |

1. Stay away from crop pants. They make your legs look short and stumpy.
2. Try a bermuda short which hits right at the top of your knee. 3. If you are busty, I would say stay away from any shirt that has a line right under your bust aka empire waist types. 4. I'm thinking you may be able to wear the flowy type tops which are out. Also, if you are smaller on bottom than on top go with more slimming styles on the bottom half. I have been plus size my entire life. I do better helping a person in a store because I can see it. I hope I helped some. Good Luck!! |

Go retro!
I found a super-cute bathing suit at mybabyjo.com. It's got coverage, but is still sexy and does not look like a grandma suit. I am an unabashedly big gal. |
| Actually if you are on the short size, stay away from Bermuda style shorts. They will make you look frumpy and bigger. |
