Did anyone get that fake FCPS email?

Anonymous
My daughter showed me (in a panic) an email supposedly sent by FCPS saying that after spring break, the kids would be going to school 7 days a week in order to make up for all the missed time they've accrued! Did anyone else receive this? A friend of hers forwarded it to her and it really did look like it was from FCPS, but I didn't receive it. She's been panicked all this break, even though I assured her it was probably just an April Fool's joke.

That's really funny.

Why the sarcastic eye roll? She's ten. Would you have wanted to go to school seven days a week when you were ten?

I would have told her at the beginning of break that it wasn't true so that she wouldn't be panicked.

I did tell her that, but she was certain it was true. I was just trying to find out if anyone else had received that email.

Because you used the word "panicked" twice to describe a 10 year old with regard to her "all this break." Dramatic much?
(And since when does a 10 year old get any emails from FCPS?)

You are truly an imbecile for making this into more than what it was - I was simply describing my daughter's reaction to a practical joke - that she didn't understand was a joke because, again - SHE'S TEN. I also stated that she didn't personally receive this email, it was forwarded to her by a friend. Perhaps read more carefully next time before overreacting to such a benign post. The juvenile and ridiculous "Dramatic much?" seems to apply more to you than me.

Did you know you require a license to be a parent in VA now? All you need to do is correctly answer 3 scenarios. Sadly it appears you failed the first one.
