I have no idea what I'm doing. Our budget is under $500 for a dining set. I am looking at Ikea or Target. Or really, anything else cheap I can order online.

We'd like it to last but not don't think we can go much higher than $500 in our budget. Thanks again. I'll post a picture of the set that you choose. ![]() |
Consider Walmart -- they have a bunch of inexpensive sets that have decent reviews. I'm also in the process of looking and going crazy with too many options. |
Read the reviews when you buy from Target. Some of their stuff that is inexpensive and just crap and will only last you 1 or 2 seasons.
I would definitely look at Ikea, Home Depot. But read reviews - they are very helpful to find out the durability of these sets. |

I just got one of the target ones. Looks great- but early to tell on durablility.

We ordered ours from Sears online. Happy with it so far. |
We had the applaro from ikea, loved it be ause it was cheap and pretty. Brought it home and read the directions-- said you have to stain it! So, we did! Next summer, it had completely faded, and by year three it was all falling apart![]() |

Here's one from Lowe's in your price range. If you could go another $100 higher, I found some others on the Lowe's website, but I totally understand staying within a budget. I also agree to check Walmart. Personally, I am not a big fan of wood because of the fading and maintenance. Also, cushioned chairs require storage space for the cushions during big rain storms. One other thing. If you can try out the chairs, that would be a good idea. Thing about patio sets is that you end up hanging around a long time after eating to socialize so you want comfortable chairs. Just things to think about. |
We just got the Camden 48" round table and four slingback chairs that swivel and rock. Cost a little over $500. Very comfortable and functional! |
