Graduation at Yankee Stadium

Need to dress for stadium seating and followed by an elegant luncheon. Do you think a hat and dress is too formal? The hat is for the sun at the stadium as well as the luncheon. I am a size 18 so my dress is knee length and the dress has cap sleeves. I will have my heels with a pair of flats in my purse.

Wear your flats to the stadium and switch to heels for the luncheon. Or wear a different pair for both that might have more support, like a medium wedge. Go for the hat.

I sat at an outdoor graduation last summer. Bring sunscreen! Also, a light scarf can cover shoulders etc.
