Multi-cycle IVF package at GW

Anonymous
Does GW have multi-cycle IVF packages? 2-cycle package or 3-cycle package? How much do they cost?
How much does single IVF cycle cost?

I did shared risk there a few years ago. I prefer not to say what I paid since it was negotiated.

When I was there in Fall 2012 there was no shared risk--or at least no one ever mentioned the possibility to me. I did 2 single cycle Own Egg IVFs. The IVF cost $6,0000 each, the meds over $7,000 each time.

Well, here's how your post could've been more helpful for her and less about you:

I did shared risk there a few years ago. They offered a 2-cycle, 3-cycle whatever...

Does anyone have their recent costs?

OP, I went there years ago so can't help you and wouldn't have current info. But I would suggest calling and asking and go in knowing that they have a list price, but probably more than other places, they will negotiate with you. In my experience, they have a lot of leeway on pricing. I'm not sure who makes that decision internally about who gets offered what price, but it's reality. I went through many cycles with them. The ones that were covered by insurance (only one) had one price and initial cycles had one price and ones further down the line when I'd been through several cycles had yet another price.

I think one reason people might not know is that a lot of people use insurance there if they have coverage, and most clinics won't work with you with insurance coverage for a shared risk plan. Not sure, but just guessing.

I paid about 5k for our cycle (about 2 years ago we started) and about $900 for meds, but we were MFI so my meds weren't as awful as they could be. Brian, their former financial guy, was amazing. Not sure how it is now, but I'm sure not as great.

My 1st round at GW in 2014 was just over $11,000 (included ICSI) plus the meds (around $3000) and I pay 100% out of pocket. We were not successful and they worked with us to lower their fees for subsequent cycles.
