DH and I have an opportunity to escape from the tiny tyrants for roughly 90 minutes or so after work this evening. The plan is to meet somewhere in MoCo (North Bethesda/Rockville area or nearby) for a quick bite. Where would you suggest?

| Paladar in North Bethesda. |
| I haven't been there yet but have heard wonderful things about Seasons 52. |
| Agree re Paladar. |
|
Bunch of new options in the Pike & Rose development - City Perch, Stella Barra, Summer House, Del Friscos.
Black Market Bistro in Garrett Park. |
| La Tasca in downtown Rockville |
| Paladar has a good happy hour. |
| Seasons 52 is also quite tasty. We prefer the bar to the dining room. |

Seasons 52
Summer House Chef Geoff's A little farther away... Matchbox Sit at the bar if you're in a hurry. It's actually kind of a treat to sit at the bar when you're used to tables with toddlers/high hairs. |
| Yes for black market bistro. Quaint charming quiet. restaurant in Garrett park in a Victorian house. Really nice vibe. I love the diver scallops. We also like cava Mezze off Shady Grove in Travilla (sp). |
It's fine. |
| Paladar has a great happy hour. YOu can sit at the bar with a few mojios and some cheap (and very tasty) appetizers. |
| Black Market or Del Frisco's. |

Black Market is WONDERFUL, but I wouldn't count on being able to zip in and out. Every once in a while we run onto slow service, so we've stopped going when we have a "deadline" - like a movie or other plans.
Absolutely worth going to though. |
