Suggestions for a treadmill around $2,000-2,500

My husband and I are in the market for a treadmill and would like recommendations. We would like something that is reliable and performs well. Between us, we would be using the treadmill probably once daily for 45 minutes to an hour although potentially longer (we live in a very cold climate and regularly run marathons/half marathons throughout the year). My husband is 6'3" and tends to run at about 9 mph so we need something really sturdy. We have plenty of space (6' x 9') in which to put the treadmill and are not interested in a foldable treadmill. Our budget is up to $2,000-$2,500. One unit we've seen reviewed very positively elsewhere is Sole T88. Apparently we can't test that model in person anywhere and so would be relying on others' reviews if we went that route. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Nordic Track Incline trainer. It's really nice and sturdy. I think they make treadmills too if you don't need the extreme incline features. The Nordic Tracks are high quality machines.

Precor is the way to go. I've had mine for a year and love love love it. We got the TRM 211. Didn't need any special bells and whistles just a quality system.

I have a Sole F80, so a lower end Sole than the one you are considering. I've had it almost 6 years and have a few thousand miles on it. I run most runs around 6.5 - 7 mph but speedwork up to 9 and it's fine. Also, can't say enough about their customer service. Our deck cracked after 5 years and they sent us a free new one that arrived two-three days after we called them. Don't recommend the F80 for you because the deck is pretty short (and it's foldable, which you indicated you don't need), which wouldn't work for your husband. But I doubt you could go wrong with a Sole!

I really like the Nordictrack 9700 pro. It has similar specs as the Sole tt8, but with a slightly bigger motor and a 10" screen on which I can stream shows while running.

Crazy to buy a new one. Check Consumer Repoerts or consumersearch.com and try to find something used for half price.

I bought a commercial grade bike (life fitness) and elliptical (precor) used from this place in purceville. It's a bit of a drive but I did my research and knew exactly what I wanted and this place had good reviews. They delivered that same week. I've been very pleased with them and am considering purchasing a spinning bike. They should have tons of treadmills.

NP with same question. Can anyone speak to how quickly your treadmill accelerates and decelerates? I do intervals and rapid speed adjustment is key. Thanks!
