what is the longest time from having sex to get a pg test

dh and i had sex two weeks ago and am wanting to make sure i am not pg before going on the pill....what is the longest amount of time it would take to get a positive pg test after having sex?

Do you know when you ovulated? Most women get their period about two weeks after that. However, Cycles can vary so much, you probably would be safest to wait until you get your period to start the pill.
