Daycare in South Arlington area (but open to Alexandria and North Arlington)

Anonymous
My son is 15 months, seeking to enroll him in the fall (so he will be around 20 months) in a supportive day care. Would love a Spanish English environment, but that is a perk. Please send me your experiences and suggestions, completely new to this and don't even know what I'm looking for yet.

I have posted before for our daycare but they have a few openings in late August/September (due to children moving on to preschool). Both of our daughters (ages now 11 and 6) went to this daycare from the time they were three months old until 3 years old.

Rosa Vindell and Ana Guerra, provide care in Rosa's home in North Arlington (off Lee Highway between Glebe and George Mason). They are extremely loving and caring and teach the children manners, sharing, kindness, abc's, numbers, etc. They love to play outside with the children and have a great back-yard with lots of play equipment. They speak Spanish to the children. Ana is fluent in English and Rosa is conversant in English so there have never been any language barriers and we love that our daughters can now speak Spanish very well.

We regularly visit Ana and Rosa (Ana's daughters now regularly babysit for our girls) and they remain very close to our family. I highly recommend them. They are fully licensed by the state and county and have all the necessary certifications. If you are interested, please call Ana at 703-380-8472.
