Are My School DC waitlist numbers changing?

Schools managed their own lists individually last year, so there's only DCPS's first round data - to my knowledge: http://dcps.dc.gov/DCPS/Learn+About+Schools/Lottery+and+Admissions:+Apply+to+Our+Schools/My+School+DC+Lottery Hopefully wait list changes can be tracked through MySchools this year. All of this is a great improvement on the days when we had to keep track of individual school lotteries and wait lists. |

Our #1 choice charter PK3 waitlist number just went UP by one today! Grr...
I'm assuming this is the result of someone accepting and getting a sibling added to the list? Or are there other ideas? |

Yes, that's what happened--if their older sibling accepted, the younger sibling would've gone to the top of the WL, bumping everyone down a spot. Bummer, and I'm sure it'll happen with our #1 pick. |
