rug for under kitchen table?

Anonymous
We live in an apartment with uneven wood floors. We just bought new chairs and don't want to damage the legs on the uneven floors.

We have a 3 yr old.

Please recommend a type of rug, material, that would be best for under a kitchen table. And where to buy it? Would prefer to order on line.

Thanks so much!

Indoor outdoor rugs. They will literally hose off. And the pile is low, which is great for scooting chairs around.

Overstock has great selection.

We use the Flor tiles. I like that they are modular, so when we move we can use the "rug" in another room.

That's what I have in our dining room. Got mine at Ballard.com. I'd definitely recommend them. Sisal rugs can be a good choice too. Also ikea carries a lot of rugs, you might want to check them out.

I would wait on sisal until the child is older. They do not do well with spills, food stains, etc.

Get a painted floor cloth - it wipes clean. Anything else will get stained and trap crumbs.
