Add: Welfare-recipient farmers who support ag-gag, decry all government, and receive close to 100% of their feed, water, and capital liquidity from the Government.

Of course, there are dramatic overlaps among all the indicated groups. But since self-identified Democrats typically don't vote ...

President Obama was elected to lead the United States twice. Since democrats don't vote, was he elected by republicans?

FYI-- life is a lot better when you stop harboring so much anger and resentment and resist the urge to classify people by your own narrow minded world view. Just breathe...

. Really? I have no anger issues, bigotry, or narrow mindedness. I feel no need to denigrate, classify or to threads attacking those who hold a different view than me. I find no reason to classify an entire political party by the extremists present in both parties. I am not so angry at people I do not know, that I feel the need to start a thread on an anonymous forum simply to insult strangers. Seems like life as a republican is pretty emotionally and socially mature and healthy.

Yep Fully agree.

You forgot the biggest constituency: people who hate the GOP but see it as the lesser of the two evils because the democrats are worse.

And on the other side of that: blacks, Jews, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, women, young people, gays.

It's a miracle there is anyone left for you.

And, yet, the liberals continue to put people into their neat little categories and fail to recognize that we actually do not fit into those neat little categories.
Perhaps this is why the Dems lost in the mid-terms so miserably.

Keep underestimating the conservatives. And, keep putting people into your neat little categories and counting on this “identity” politics to help you win more seats. It has worked oh, so well.

When Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu lost her re-election runoff on Saturday it put Barack Obama in the record books as the two-term president with the most midterm losses for his party.

The record previously was held by Harry Truman.

Truman's Democratic Party lost 74 seats in 1946 and 1950, while under Obama the Democrats have lost a total of 75 seats in 2010 and 2014.
