| Finished watching The Americans And have an hankering for some spy thrillers. I have both Netflix and Amazon Prime.Any recommendations? |
|
Rubicon was on Amazon at one point
Turn on Netflix Allegiance currently on NBC |
|
Bletchley Circle on Netflix
The Hour on Amazon Archer--very crude humor but a funny spoof on James Bond |
|
Murder on the Home Front
Fleming |
|
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
The Day of the Jackel (1973 version) |
| Thanks. |
| Watch MI-5 on Netflix! The best, ever. It starts out a teeny bit subtle, almost dull, but then becomes sublime. |
| The BBC remake of 39 Steps |
|
Op here: watched MI-5 earlier this year. Great show.
I saw Tinker Tailor yesterday night and thought it was interesting but so strangely shot. Guess the book didn't lend itself to a easy screenplay. |
| Sneakers with Robert Redford is a good movie |
| I really enjoyed the show Agent Carter, which is a Marvel spin off. Not sure if it's available online though at this point. |
The Matt Damon Jason Bourne movies are surprisingly good. Never watched the non-Damon one!

Funny ones are:
Spy: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2086606/?ref_=fn_al_tt_3 and The Wrong Mans: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2603596/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Love James Corden. |
Was it the original, with Alec Guinness? Smiley's People is also good. |
