The kind where the rice gets crunchy on the hot stone bowl, and the egg is sort of runny (so I can mix it in with rice)?
Mmmm....

| Lotte |
| Food trucks on the mall. |
| There's a Korean restaurant in Chantilly but I forget its name. It's good though! |
| Thanks all! Re: food trucks, how do they handle the whole stone bowl thing? Again, I like the crunchy rice... |
| You're looking for dol sot bibimbap. Where do you live? va has a ton of places. Md and dc not so much. I'm |

what area?
|
| I've had really good Bi Bim Bap at Mandu on 18th Street. Hot stone bowl, crunchy rice at the bottom, wonderful. So satisfying. My SIL requests that we go there every time she visits from NY. |
They don't do that, bad idea. Honestly, Spa World has a pretty good one. So does Mandu. |
| You could try Lighthouse tofu in rockville. |
| OP here, am in DC, fully prepared to travel to VA for my fix. Thanks for these suggestions! |
| So random, but Tysons Bagel Market on Rt 7. People eat it for breakfast there. |
Mosey on over to Mandu at the bottom of Adams Morgan first. You won't be disappointed. |
| Bul in Adams Morgan. It's americanized Korean, so my Korean DH had low expectations, but he actually ended up loving the bibimbap. And the tofu kimchi too if you're into that. |
| Kimchi House waaay down Route 1/Richmond Highway is awesome!!!!! |
