The only topic of conversation in our house anymore. Often outrage expressed when a friend didn't get in and outrage when a not-friend did get in. Joy and anticipation for DD so far but the rejections are coming (she did some real "reach" schools).
God, I will be happy to write the big check just to get this all to end!!! |

| I couldn't agree more. I am weary of the constant talk about college and who got in where. We are definitely going to push for EA for DD #2 in two years. |

The constant electronic connection and social media makes it worse. DS is reporting someone somewhere who got into someplace with every ring of his phone. Some of the kids he is reporting on he doesn't even know! Guys from other high schools that he played hockey or baseball against. A friend of a friend of a friend.
Maybe PP is correct and this is nature's way of getting us ready to write the big check! |
