Anyone actually booked a last minute trip for a big family?

I've read about last minute travel deals offering the best prices, but how can you possibly book flights for six people at the last minute?

Anyone with a family of 5 or 6 actually do this? What sites do you find the best deals? Any tips?

Desperately want to go to the Caribbean, but need to find an affordable way to do it.

I've booked at the last minute for a family of 4 but it wasn't any cheaper. The last minute deals are not going to be at peak travel times like spring break or summer.

Where did you pick? Trying to figure out what still might be available. Somewhere warm?

No. We go skiing. When spring break falls late we can get great deals assuming there is still snow. Not so easy this year because of poor snow in the west.
