Hi,
Any recommendations for an internist or primary care in a concierge type practice? Also, if you have switched to a concierge medical practice, do you think it was worth the extra money? Thanks. |
| depends on how much you go to the doctor. |

OP, here. I realize it sounds like a pretentious sort of request, but I have had some recent medical problems and things seem to fall through the cracks at my regular primary care provider. Until now, I had no health issues, so this is a new thing for me.
Anyway, just curious if there were recommendations on this. And, for those who use a concierge medical practice, I'd like your opinion on whether it is worth it. |
| Not a concierge practice, but I go to Pulmonary and Medical associates in Falls Church city. They are part of the Privia Medical Group, as is my gyn and my endocriniologist, so they all have access to the records from each visit and all records and test results are online for me to view myself. I saw all of these doctors for years independently before they all participated in Privia, so it is definitely nice to have the seamless coordination now. |
Thanks. They are close to my neighborhood. I will give them a try. |
| Dr Lucy McBride, but she's just over Chain Bridge in DC. She's amazing and will spend an hour with you. |
