How much to pay for housecleaning?

| We have a three-bedroom condo, two kids, no pets, housecleaner comes twice a month. The person who worked for us for years just left, and as I am looking for a new person I'd like to know what the going rate is. |

| I pay $25.00/hr--2 kids away and 1 at home , 2 dogs, 1 cat, 5 bedrooms but only two need cleaning (unless kids home or company), kitchen, DR, TV room, 3 bathrooms. Generally takes 5 hours. She also changes sheets. I give her two days off every year with pay and a Christmas and birthday bonus. She's been with us for over 20 years. |

NP. Where are you located and how often do they come? Not OP, but I have been toying with the idea of having a once-a-month deep clean. I don't need or want them to do laundry/make beds/or do dishes. I basically just want a really thorough dust job, vacuum, clean floors (get dust from under furniture), thorough cleaning of 3 bathrooms (two of them are pretty small). |

We pay $250 per visit. Our house is 4400 square feet of "cleanable" space. Two ladies, not a service.
Right now they come 1x per month and we keep spaces tidy/clean-ish in the meantime. |
