I need to order a non-stick frying pan. Looking online, I'm starting to see a bunch of ceramic cookware. Are those as good as the non-stick?
I was originally going to get this (it's recommended by America's Test Kitchen): www.amazon.com/dp/B000GWG0T2/?tag=buyingguideepromo-20. Macy's has this ceramic version: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/t-fal-grand-chef-ceramic-nonstick-12-fry-pan?ID=1492110&CategoryID=7552#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D17%26slotId%3D8%26kws%3Dt-fal%20e93808. I want to buy something that will last for at least a few years (I know that teflon isn't made to last forever). TIA! |

My view is that if America's Test Kitchen recommends it, it's good.

I agree. With them it's not the brand or the price, it's the function. You can't go wrong with their picks. |
Actually, I've gone wrong with their picks before. Bought a waffle iron that that was once their best buy pick, but a year later they put it on their not recommended list. Too late for me! Also bought a blender they recommended that broke within one year. Now I don't rely on their picks anymore. |
