Well over a year in, and there's still no "there" there - and now even Trey Gowdy seems resigned on not being able to keep momentum on the manufactured Benghazi scandal going until election time...

I don’t believe you linked to the correct article. Because the article you linked to says nothing about there being “no ‘there’ there.” Nor did it state that he is running out of steam. If you have been actually paying attention to the news, you would know that he has been accused of “going after Hillary” because she is likely going to run for president, even though he has not MENTIONED the name “Hillary Clinton” in the three hearing which have been held. I am sure the statement that he has no interest in pursuing the investigation beyond 2015. However, if HRC is not forthcoming, I am sure he would not hesitate to continue the investigation. So, did you link to the wrong article, OP? |

If she's kept all the emails on a private server and deleted them, and they 'can't be recovered' from other sources, he has no choice but to not pursue over the long term. That does not mean, however, that nothing untoward occurred.
Personally? I could not vote for someone who feels the need to use a private server and email for company business. Interestingly enough, I'm sure if any of your spouses had a private server and private email, you'd be mighty suspicious. |
So you will be unable to vote for either Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush, correct? |
I've been following Gowdy's Benghazi investigation since it began, we're well over a year into this, yet there still isn't even the faintest trace of anything one might call a "smoking gun" - and Gowdy hasn't yet uncovered a single thing different than what the 8 prior independent investigations of Benghazi had uncovered - not a single thing corroborating the right wing Benghazi conspiracy theories. That's what tells me there's no "there" there. Going after Hillary on emails is rapidly fizzling as well, given no Secretary of State prior to Kerry ever used State Department mail servers, and even worse now given her biggest critics, like Jeb Bush have now been shown to have used private, personal email for official business and matters of security. All Gowdy is doing at this point is wasting taxpayer dollars on a bullshit witch hunt which he already knows isn't going anywhere. |
Can't vote for Lindsey Graham or anyone else who can't produce a full and complete electronic accounting of all of their official government communications. I figure that wipes out the entire slate of candidates out there right now

Thanks for posting this. Pitiful. You would think they have something to hide. |
Not a Jeb fan. He's not my guy. But if given the choice between the two? Will vote for Bush because he's simply more conservative than Hillary is. Will not vote of him in a primary. |
| Please, stretch the GOP primary out to August, only to settle at the end. |
But you said you couldn't vote for anyone who used a private server and private email for business, which is exactly what Jeb Bush did. |
Perhaps they are just showing GOP the same respect, courtesy and cooperation that the GOP has been showing them. |
In that case, she will attach a rider to the request that provides federal funding for abortions in all fifty states. When they refuse, she will attach a rider that provides federal funding for abortions in all fifty states plus the next ten states that join the union. |
