Amica insurance?

Anonymous
I saw someone mention this company in a post recently on these boards. I wasn't familiar with them but happened to get a mailer and got quotes--between home, auto and umbrella I could save over $350 a year over what I am paying Geico---does anyone else have them? Are you happy with the service? Do they raise rates substantially?

I used to have them and they were fine. No longer do because they are not competitive on premiums for me.

Amica is the best rated insurance but is the most expensive, second is usaa and then erie. We have erie because the costs are half of ussa. Amica is about 10-20% more than USAA.

We have had them for over 12 years for home and auto and they have good rates. We have high deductibles though. Our rates don't raise much, but we have short commutes and older cars.
I would shop around if you are considering life insurance.

I have had them for car insurance for almost 30 years. Fantastic company and great to work with if you ever have need for claims.

I have them. They're reasonably good.

I've had them for 20 years and my parents for 20 before that. I love them and their customer service is truly outstanding.

We were robbed when my husband was in grad school and we needed the money badly -- we had a check in hand in well under a week with no hassle.

I've had Amica for 15 years for home/auto. Definitely recommend. I had two auto claims during my time with them and everything was handled super fast and also explained very well. Very easy to work with when moving out of state too, and adding new car. Recommend.

Thanks all---OP here. We ended up going with them. Hoping the rates don't rise a lot after the first year---so far the sign up experience and getting documentation etc. has been really smooth. Appreciate the insight.
