You have to take a two week course which is around $200. Then you have to get CPR certified. Around $50? I forget. Those are the only immediate costs I remember. Every year you have to take a certain number of credits to keep your license. Probably about $200/year. Oh, you also have to have the fire department come and inspect. I think there is a fee for that, but I forget it. You need to have grounded smoke detectors, FYI. Installing them is a cost. I think that's it. My hat is off to you. I did home daycare for three years. SO much work, SO little pay. It's an important job and a fun one. But you will be tired! good luck!
