That's the headline on a new book review, in the Washington Post, of "The Wild Oats Project: One Woman's Midlife Quest for Passion at Any Cost" - http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/book-party/wp/2015/03/12/she-took-a-year-off-from-her-marriage-to-sleep-with-strangers-what-could-go-wrong/
Go! |
| Just another example of the moral decay in our country. Very sad. |
| How dare you judge this dirty filthy cheating whore! |
| I am surprised it isn't a reality show. |
| Stupid. This is what you do before marriage. Also, why marry someone who does not want kids if you do? |
|
Ugh. Sounds awful.
After reading that review I actually feel sorry for the author. She's messed up. |
| I feel sorry for her husband. |
| Eat, Pray, Love. |

Sounds to me that this is a story:
- about a very insecure woman - who thinks the meaning of life is “all about her" - who wanted to write a book - and found a disgusting experience on which to base her writing. I am not some old prude, but I find this so totally disgusting. Not only what she did - but her whole mindset - that SHE deserves to be happy on her deathbed. Perhaps she should think about volunteering and giving back to others. That is where she will find real joy. Not in the beds of acquaintances. |
DH here: I don't. He was a weakling for tolerating this and deserved what he got. |
| Ladies, Lean In [to extramarital sex]! |
| Sounds like the husbands here. |
Very well said! |
+1 |
I so don't see the appeal. She dumped her husband to go on some vision quest and the the hunky Brazilian with money. |
