DCUM causing mobile browser to crash?

Anonymous
I am using the Google Chrome browser app on my Android OS phone. In the past few days, DCUM has caused the app to close suddenly after just a few minutes of use. It does not happen when I am on any other website. It happens in regular and incognito windows. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Unfortunately, all I'm going to be able to do is ask if others are having the same problem. That will determine whether this might be a problem with your phone or a wider problem with DCUM. I don't have an Android device with which to test myself. We haven't made any recent changes to anything on DCUM that would impact your browser. The most likely cause is Javascript that is used for the ads. Ironically, that Javascript is sent by Google. One would think it would work with their own browser. You might try clearing your browser's cache and seeing if that helps at all.

I sometimes have this problem using Safari on my iPad. At other times, I get a message saying something like, "An error occurred with this webpage, so it was reloaded." I have assumed it's a problem with my device, which is probably considered elderly for an iPad. I think it may be unable to easily handle the ads.

mmm, never mind. Different error caused by too long message title.

OP here. I cleared my cache and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks, Jeff.
