For what reason would this be a better choice?

Capital Technical University, formerly known,until November 2014, as Capital College in Laurel.
Tuition 20K a semester ( yes, I said semester) ...bills itself as a private engineering college. Computer skills, programming, etc. Why would this be a choice over UMD, UMBC for anyone? Why would someone pay that amount over an established state university? Also, how are all these former vocational schools becoming universities so quickly? |

Just a guess, but it would because Capitol College accepted you and UMD and UMBC, both of which are getting very hard to get into, didn't.

| who's accrediting them? I'd say the school maybe ran a financial aid package which makes the out of pocket expense seem negligible....Tuition is 20k but you get a 12k scholarship and grants and loans for the difference. |
